Garry Bocaly plays in the position of right defender for Montpellier HSC. The footballer was born on 19 April 1988 in Schœlcher (France).
Garry’s youth career began from the moment when he joined Marseille football academy. Bocaly also played for the club’s youth team. In 2005 his youth career came to an end when the footballer was awarded a five-year contract thus officially turning into a full member of Marseille team. Garry Bocaly played for his first club over a period of two seasons but appeared only in 8 matches.
In 2007 Marseille made a decision to loan Garry out to FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin. During the 2007/08 season a young defender participated in 29 matches with the club scoring 1 goal.
In 2008 Bocaly was again sent on loan to Montpellier HSC. The club’s manager entrusted Garry the place in the main squad for a whole season. The footballer played well during the season taking part in 35 matches and scoring 4 goals. The following season Montpellier wanted to renew ties with the football player though only on loan terms. However during the 2010 season Garry did not participate so actively in the club’s matches as in the previous one. For six months he appeared in 12 matches. In summer 2010 Montpellier decided to sign a contract with Bocaly on a permanent basis after two seasons spent in that club.
From 2008 till 2010 Garry Bocaly was called up to the France under-21 team 13 times.
