Género Zeefuik is a player of Groningen, who can perform both as a striker and a winger. He was born on 5 April 1990 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Zeefuik started to play football in several amateur clubs, but later managed to enter the academy of Ajax. At the age of 15, the footballer moved to Omniworld. After he finished his training, Género transferred to PSV and made his senior début for the new team in the Eredivisie match against NAC Breda on 31 March 2007, which meant he became the third youngest PSV player ever. Zeefuik took part in 16 fixtures and found the net one time for ‘Rood-witten’ during his spell.
In the 2008/2009 season, the footballer was sent on loan to his boyhood club Omniworld. Género started to perform as a regular at once and featured in 35 games during one year. The following season, the striker was loaned out again, this time to Dordrecht. In 2011, Zeefuik penned a season-long loan deal with NAC Breda, where he made 26 appearances and fired six goals. After the end of his spell, the Dutchman sealed a deal with Groningen on permanent basis.
