George Francomb is a back of Wimbledon. He was born on 8 September 1991 in a London suburb, England.
In 2006 George became a trainee of the London side Tottenham academy and spent two years there. He managed to develop into the player, who could seriously think over the professional career, but his future in Tottenham was not very serene and the back wanted to transfer to the club that could provide him the place of a regular. In the summer 2008, Francomb moved to the academy of Norwich City and trained there during one year before reaching the new level of performance.
In 2009 George penned his first professional contract with the club. That was the time the footballer had to face high competition in the team and he passed that period in a proper and decent manner. In the summer 2010, Francomb went on a six-month loan to Barnet. He made 16 appearances for the team before the end of his spell in January 2011. A year later, George was sent on another loan, this time to Hibernian, where he spent the second half of the 2011/2012 season and took part in 14 games.
Since 2012 Francomb has player for Wimbledon.
