George Moncur is a midfielder of West Ham United. He was born on 18 August 1993 in Swindon, England.
In the mid 2000s’ George joined the academy of West Ham and neared the homestretch on his way to the professional start. After all his trainings, Moncur’s level of skill reached the point, where he was considered as a candidate for a place in the main team.
In 2010 George eventually received an official offer and penned a contract with the club in the summer the same year, thus becoming a senior player. However, the midfielder failed to come on the pitch till January 2012, because the head coach had more experienced footballers in the fold.
Thereby, the footballer’s services were unclaimed in ‘The Hammers’, but Wimbledon decided to seal a loan deal with Moncur, who netted two goals in 20 games for the temporary team during the second half of the 2011/2012 season.
In 2010 George made his first international appearance, when he was called up to the England national U-18 team. Later the footballer took part in another game at the U-18 level.
