Germán Denis plays as a striker for Atalanta BC. He was born on 10 September 1981 in Remedios de Escalada, Argentina.
In 1997 the player signed his first professional contract with Talleres RE which he represented over a period of two years. These two seasons turned out very successful, because Germán scored 25 goals in 33 total appearances. In 2000 Denis joined Quilmes for which he performed until the summer of the same year thus making 4 appearances and netting 2 goals.
In the year 2000 an Argentine striker agreed to a contract with Club Atlético Los Andes keeping him at the club for one year and a half. Throughout that time the player managed to score 18 goals in 28 matches. In January 2002 Germán moved to AC Cesena for which he participated in 29 matches and netted 3 goals. In the summer of 2003 he returned to his home country. Arsenal de Sarandí became his new club for which he starred over a period of two years. In total he featured in 54 matches and netted 13 goals for the club. From 2005 till 2010 Denis played for several clubs, such as Colón, Independiente and SSC Napoli. In total he managed to appear in 169 matches and score 61 goals for five years.
In 2010 the player signed a contract with Udinese where he stayed for a season and participated in 25 games scoring 4 goals. In 2011 he was loaned to Atalanta BC where he quickly adapted to the new team.
Since 2007 Germán has represented the Argentina national football team.
