Gianluca Sansone is an Italian striker who currently represents Sampdoria. He was born on May 12, 1987 in Potenza, Italy.
Sansone spent an early part of his career with Montorio. In 2006 he made the move to the newly-promoted side Valle del Giovenco, where the young goalscorer netted 14 goals in 63 matches and impressed enough to earn a move to Siena in 2008. The club offered him a five-year deal. In the 2009 January transfer window Sansone moved on loan to Gallipoli. During the 2009/2010 season the pacy striker enjoyed another loan stint, this time with Lanciano. He registered 25 appearances and blasted 6 goals during his prolific stay at the club.
In 2010 Frosinone purchased half of the rights for Siena striker for €400,000. A year later Siena bought back Sansone. Soon Sassuolo completed a deal for the Italian target man in a move believed to be worth €425,000. A haul of 19 goals in 34 outings prompted another transfer into the Serie A. In July 2012 Gianluca Sansone was unveiled as a Torino player. In January 2013 Gianluca moved to Sampdoria.
