Giedrius Arlauskis is a goalkeeper for Rubin Kazan. He was born on 1 December, 1987 in Telšia, Lithuania.
Giedrius’ professional career started at FK Šiauliai, where he played from 2005 to 2008. In 2008 Arlauskis moved to Romanian Liga 1 Unirea Urziceni. The 2008/09 season was triumphant for the club and for the player. Unirea became the champion of Romania and Giedrius was named the best goalkeeper of Liga 1. In the 2009/10 season Arlauskis’ club played in the Champions League. Despite his young age the goalkeeper quickly became a regular in the Romanian club starting lineup.
On 20 August, 2010 Giedrius signed an agreement with Rubin Kazan. Arlauskis debuted for the Russian club on 17 February 2011.
Since 2008 Giedrius is called up to play for Lithuania, and currently has 5 international caps.
