Giorgio Frezzolini plays as a goalkeeper for Atalanta BC. He was born on 21 January 1976 in Rome, Italy.
In 1993 the player signed his first professional contract with SS Lazio keeping him at the club until 1995. In 1993 he was given out on loan to Cerveteri for which he featured in 3 matches. In the following year he was loaned to Carpi FC where he also appeared in 3 matches. In 1995 Giorgio agreed to a contract with FC Internazionale and was almost immediately loaned to various Italian football clubs. Consequently, from 1996 till 2001 he managed to play for such clubs as AS Trapani, Fidelis Andria, Udinese Calcio, Cosenza Calcio, AC Milan and AC Chievo. In total Frezzolini made 62 appearances with these 6 clubs.
In 2001 the goalkeeper signed a contract with US Lecce which he represented until 2003. During that time he appeared only in 4 matches in the starting lineup. In 2003 he was given out on loan to SSC Venezia. At the end of the loan spell Giorgio was bought by AC Chievo in the summer of 2003. The 2003/04 season the player spent on the bench showing up only in 8 matches. In 2004 the goalkeeper joined Modena FC which turned out the most successful in the player’s career. Throughout all five years with that club he was a first-choice goalkeeper of the starting lineup. During that time he participated in 176 matches. In 2009 Frezzolini moved to Ascoli Calcio for which he starred in 15 games during the 2009/10 season. In 2010 the player switched to Atalanta BC where he currently performs.
