A Turkish footballer Gökhan Emreciksin was born on 10 September 1984 in Istanbul.
In 2000, Gökhan was selected for the youth team of Istanbul Sinopspor. He spent three years at the academy studying football in its minutest details. A starting point for the move to the senior game was in 2003, when Bandırmaspor took an interest in the young winger. Emreciksin club career would span for two seasons. In total, he made 50 appearances and netted seven goals. In 2005, the player was hired by Boluspor. He clinched into the first XI appearing 78 times and amassing 12 goals during the spell.
In 2008, Gökhan joined MKE Ankaragücü. He managed a wonderful season with the team featuring in 39 matches and scoring 7 goals. In 2009, the footballer had a brief spell at Fenerbahçe. After making nine appearances for the club, he was bought out by Kayserispor. The 2009/2010 season was lined with 21 appearances made and four goals scored.
The 2010/2011 season would find Emreciksin performing for Manisaspor. In 2011, a deal was agreed with Konyaspor. The winger produced a good performance netting two goals in 24 games. In 2012, a contract was penned with Elazığspor. After a short spell with Goztepe Izmir, the winger joined Boluspor in the summer 2013.
On 26 March 2008, Gökhan played for the Turkish national squad in a match with the Belarus national squad. That was his only appearance made at the international level.
