Gorka Elustondo Urkola was born in 1987 in Beasain, Spain. He is a Spanish footballer and currently he plays for Real Sociedad as a midfielder.
A product of Real Sociedad’s youth system, Elustondo appeared in La Liga for the first time in December 2006 in the match against Celta de Vigo that ended 0-0 draw. Gorka Elustondo appeared in six more games during his first professional season and his team reached the top division for the first time in 40 years.
Playing for Real in the Segunda division in October 2008 he suffered a knee injury and stayed aside till the end of the season.
Gorka Elustondo was called up for the Spain Under-19 and Under-20 national teams and the U19 squad won the 2006 UEFA European Football Championship.
