Grégory Sertić is a French footballer of Croatian origin who features as a midfielder at Bordeaux.
Sertić began his career at Egly in Essonne. Later he played for both clubs of his native town Brétigny and Viry-Châtillon before he got an opportunity to get training at Clairefontaine academy. After 2 years at the academy the footballer transferred to Bordeaux. He won the recognition and was noticed by the manager Laurent Blanc during the 2007/08 season. The football player featured in 20 matches and scored 7 goals helping Bordeaux reserve team to finish atop the group. He also played in Bordeuax youth team that got a prize-winning place in The Coupe Gambardella surrendering to Rennes.
For his merits the footballer got an opportunity to play and practice with the first squad in the 2008/09 season. He was also included in the reserve team to feature in UEFA Champions League. The European campaign took place in the 2008/09 season though Sertić never took the field.
The midfielder made his debut on 11 November 2008 in the League Cup in a game against Guingamp; Sertić took the field as a substitute and played during 12 minutes. His first appearance took place on 25 April 2009 when Rennes were defeated. Sertić played 69 minutes until being substituted. The following week he appeared in a match against Sochaux netting his first official goal in the 7th minute.
On 25 May 2009 Sertić was called up to the French national U-21 team to feature in the 2009 Toulon Tournament. He made his debut in a game against the Portugal national team.
Besides Sertić has a right to feature for The Croatia national team; however the footballer announced that he is inclined to represent The French national team.
