Guglielmo Stendardo plays at the position of centre back for Atalanta BC. He was born on 6 May 1981 in Naples, Italy.
An Italian defender began his senior career playing for SSC Napoli for which he appeared only in one match during the 1997/98 season. In the winter of 1999 Guglielmo was purchased by UC Sampdoria where the player spent over two seasons. Throughout that time he was lucky to participate in 32 matches even though he did not manage to become a key player of the defensive line.
In 2002 Stendardo moved to Salernitana Calcio where he played during the 2002/03 season thus making 17 total appearances and scoring 4 goals. In 2003 he switched to AC Perugia. However, he had to delay his performance for that club for the whole season, because for the 2003/04 season he was bound by the contract with Calcio Catania. So, by the end of the loan spell at Calcio Catania the defender joined the starting lineup of AC Perugia for the 2004/05 season during which he starred in 39 matches and netted 3 goals.
In 2005 Guglielmo was bought by SS Lazio which he represented for three seasons periodically appearing in the starting lineup. In 2008 he moved to Juventus FC on loan from Lazio. The defender featured in 5 matches scoring 1 goal for Juventus playing for it for half a year. In 2008 Stendardo was loaned to UC Lecce until 2009. In January 2012 the player joined Atalanta BC at first on loan and then on a permanent basis.
