Guirane N’Daw is a midfielder of Asteras Tripolis. He was born on 24 April 1984 in Rufisque, Senegal.
Guirane’s youth career took off in the academy of Sochaux, where the footballer spent several years and became one of the best trainees. In 2002, he joined the main squad of the club and netted five goals in 122 matches during six years.
In 2008, N’Daw transferred to French side Nantes and fired three goals in 32 matches for the team during one season. In 2009, the midfielder sealed a season-long loan deal with Saint-Étienne and took part in 34 fixtures during his spell.
Guirane’s performance impressed the management of the temporary club, which entailed the footballer’s move to Saint-Étienne on permanent basis in the summer 2010. However, he failed to adjust to the new atmosphere and went on loan to Spanish side Zaragoza in January 2011. The midfielder featured in nine games for the team during the second half of the 2010/2011 season and sealed a temporary deal with English side Birmingham City, where he took part in 19 fixtures during one year.
In August 2012, N’Daw put pen to paper of a season-long loan contract with Ipswich Town.
In 2013 the Senegalese player signed a permanent deal with a Greek side Asteras Tripolis.
From 2005, the footballer has been capped 39 times and contributed three goals for the Senegal national squad.
