Guilherme do Prado Raymundo is a striker, born on 31 December 1981 in Campinas, Brazil.
In 2002 Guilherme’s professional performance started in Portuguesa Santista. The footballer was given an opportunity to make 22 appearances and net seven goals before he left the club the same year. In the summer 2002, do Prado moved to Italian side Catania, where he featured in four games during one season.
In 2003 Raymundo ended his Catania spell with Perugia move. The striker took part in 34 fixtures and found the net four times during two years. In 2005 Italian side Fiorentina wished to secure the footballer’s services, lodged a tempting bid for him and offered Guilherme a lucrative contract. In the summer the same year, do Prado penned a contract with the club, where he spent three following years, including one year on loan. The striker did not manage to feature in any fixtures of the new team during first two seasons and went on loan to Spezia in 2007, where he made 32 appearances and went on to net four times. At the beginning of 2008, Guilherme completed a temporary move to Mantova and scored two goals in 14 games for the club.
From 2008 till 2010, do Prado performed for Pro Patria and Cesena, where he made total 51 appearances and kicked 15 goals. In 2010 the footballer left Italy for the first time in many years so that to finalize a loan deal with Southampton, where he featured in 17 fixtures and chipped in six goals during his six-month spell. The coaching staff and management liked the footballer so much they decided to buy him from Cesena and pen a long-term contract with the Brasilian striker in January 2011. Guilherme took part in over 100 games for the English side club till 2014.
