Haris Seferović is a striker of Real Sociedad. He was born on 22 February 1992 in Sursee, Switzerland.
Haris started his youth career in the youth academy of his parent club Sursee in 1999. After that he had been fostered in different Swiss football academies and set his level to new heights. In 2009 Seferovic was ready to start his professional career.
In 2009 the Swiss penned a contract with Grasshopper Club Zurich and joined the first squad. He made only 3 appearances for the team during his debut season. However he was scouted by a number of European clubs.
In the summer 2010 Haris put a pen to paper of a contract with Fiorentina. He managed to take part only in one club’s match because he lacked experience. So in 2011/12 he was loaned to Neuchatel Xamax where he managed to make 10 appearances and banged in twice. The next season he was loaned to Lecce to come back for 2012/2013 season. In 2013 he was loaned out to Novara.
Upon returning from the spell Haris penned a permanent deal with a Spanish club Real Sociedad.
From 2007 to 2009 Seferovic made 11 appearances and fired 9 goals for Switzerland U-17 national team. Since 2010 Haris has been playing for Switzerland U-19 team. He managed to play 3 games and score twice up to now.
