Héctor Andrés Bracamonte was born in 1978 Río Cuarto, Argentina. He began his senior career at Boca Juniors in 1998 but appeared only in one game and immediately moved to Club Atlético Los Andes where he spent one season. After that he left for Spain to join CD Badajoz and stayed there two seasons.
In 2002 Bracamonte came back to Argentinean team Boca, spent there one season and moved to Russia. From 2004 to 2009 he played for FC Moscow (its former name was Torpedo Metallurg). During his spell there Bracamonte became the team’s top scorer and got the largest amount of caps in the history of the club as he made 145 appearances and scored 35 goals. In 2009, he signed for Terek Grozny, where he spent two seasons and after that joined FC Rostov for the 2011/12 season. In 2012, Héctor Bracamonte returned to his native country, Argentina, to sign for Rosario Central. Later on he had a spell with Atletico Sarmiento and retired from professional career in 2014.
