A Spanish footballer Héctor Verdés Ortega performs as a central defender for Elche FC. Héctor was born on 24 June 1984 in Villar del Arzobispo, Valencia.
Héctor Verdés spent his youth career at the academy of Valencia. After he’d finished his formation, the defender agreed on a four-year contract with the club. The footballer spent three years performing for the B team. In total, he netted two goals in 40 matches. In 2007, Héctor was loaned out by Xerez. The 2007/2008 season was lined with two balls racked up in 21 games.
In the summer 2008, Verdés was bought out by Barcelona. He spent one year defending the club’s reserve team. The player made 22 appearances for the B squad. In 2009, a transfer to Valencia happened. Héctor was selected for the reserve side, for which he made 15 appearances during the spell.
In the summer 2010, the defender finished performances for the reserve squads and joined the starting XI of Elche. The first two seasons were lined with 34 appearances made.
