Heinrich Schmidtgal is a German-Kazakh midfielder of German side Fortuna Dusseldorf and the Kazakhstan national team.
Heinrich’s professional career started in August 2003 when he debuted for SC Verl, making a sub appearance in the 65th minute. He used to play as a left forward, but later moved to the center spot. In the 2006/07 season, Schmidtgal delivered 7 goals, thus contributing to Verl’s tangible rise in the Regionalliga. Moreover, Heinrich became the midfielder with a coefficient 0.21 goals netted per game. In 2007 he joined VfL Bochum II. In 2009 the player agreed to the contract with the 2nd Bundesliga side Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, in which he earned 51 appearances and scored 5 goals. May 2011 was marked by Schmidtgal’s move to SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The footballer penned a 2-year contract with the club. His debut for the new team came in the match versus VfL Bochum that ended in a 2-3 defeat.
At the end of 2012/2013 season the player switched to Fortuna Dusseldorf.
