Henning Hauger is a Norwegian midfielder who currently plays for Elfsborg. He was born on 17 July 1985 in Bærum, Norway.
Henning played for the junior team of Stabæk, before signing a professional contract with the club in 2003. On 21 April 2003 Hauger made his first-team debut in the match against Odd Grenland, coming on as substitute for Tryggvi Guðmundsson in the 78th minute. From 2003 to 2011 Hauger registered 166 appearances and scored 6 goals for Stabæk.
In July 2011 Hauger was transferred to Hannover 96, where he played for the reserve team predominantly. On 6 August 2011 Hauger debuted for Hannover 96 in the game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In 2012 Henning was loaned out to Lillestrøm for half a year. On 3 January 2013 Hauger switched to Elfsborg, signing a 3-year contract with the club.
Hauger played for Norwegian youth teams from 2001 to 2005. In 2005 he was called up to the Norway U-21 team, where he participated in 14 games. In 2006 Hauger debuted for the senior national team. Since then, he has registered over 20 appearances for the outfit.
