Henrico Botes is a footballer from Namibia, currently playing for the South African team Platinum Stars in the Premier Soccer League. He was born on 24 December 1979 and began his senior professional career in 1999 at the Namibian team Young Ones, then played for Ramblers. In 2005 Botes moved to South Africa joining Moroka Swallows. In 2007 he signed for Platinum Stars and in August 2007 he made his debut appearance for Platinum Stars in the loss to Jomo Cosmos in the SAA Supa8 Cup quarterfinal but wasn’t used often during his first season with the club because of the injury. Having recovered Henrico Botes became the team’s regular player.
He’s been the Namibia national team player since 2001.
