Henrico Drost is a centre back of NAC Breda. He was born on 21 January 1987 in Kampen, Netherlands.
Henrico started to play football in local DOS Kampen, from where he moved to Go Ahead Eagles. In 2001, the player successfully passed a trial at the academy of Heerenveen and spent three years with the youth team of the club.
In 2004, Drost penned his first senior five-year contract with Heerenveen. The footballer made 30 appearances for the club during two years and went on loan to Excelsior, where he was promised playing practice. The management of the temporary team kept their promises and Henrico fired one goal in 30 fixtures for the squad during the 2006/2007 season.
After returning to Heerenveen, Drost did not manage to clinch a regular place, and his appearances were very rare. In the winter 2009, the player sealed a loan deal with De Graafschap and featured in seven games for the team during six months.
In the summer 2009, Henrico went on loan once again, this time to VVV-Venlo, where he took part only in one match during one year.
In 2010, RKC Waalwijk secured the footballer’s services on permanent basis. Drost made 97 appearances and found the net three times for the club. At the end of 2012/2013 season Drost switched to NAC Breda.
The back was caped two times for the Netherlands national U-20 team and one time for the U-21 squad.
