Hiroshi Kiyotake was born on November 12, 1989 in Ōita, Japan. He plays on the position of an attacking midfielder.
In 2002, Hiroshi started playing at Katiora FC where he spent two seasons and in 2004 joined Ōita Trinita youth team. On August 9, 2008 Kiyotake made his debut for the senior squad. Then he made a substitute appearance on the 78th minute of the match and scored an equalizer a few minutes later. On September 2011 he appeared in the first leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-final and made a brace helping his team to achieve a 4-3 victory. That success attracted a lot of interest to the player, so in summer 2012 Hiroshi Kiyotake signed for FC Nürnberg. The agreement is valid till June 30, 2016.
Having passed through the U-20 Japan national football team on August 10, 2011 Hiroshi made his debut for the Japanese senior international squad in the match against South Korea international team.
