A Brazilian footballer Ibson Barreto da Silva acts as a midfielder. Barreto was born on 7 November 1983.
When Ibson was nine, he entered the academy of Flamengo. After progressing on the club’s youth categories, the midfielder made his professional debut in 2003. He made 51 appearances netting 6 times during the spell. In 2005, the footballer was scouted by Porto, where the next two seasons of his career were spent. In 2007, Ibson was loaned out by the former side Flamengo. He produced a good performance netting 17 goals in 62 matches.
In 2009, Barreto was scouted by Spartak Moscow. He made 44 appearances and netted 3 goals for the Russian side. In 2011, the midfielder had a spell at santos. Whilst playing for the squad, he was honored with the São Paulo League State title.
In 2012, Ibson rejoined the former Flamengo and featured in 33 matches. After that he switched to Corinthians.
In January 2014 Ibson returned to Europe and joined an Italian outfit Bologna.
