Ido Exbard is a center forward for Hapoel. He was born on 16 December 1988 in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
Even though Ido Exbard is a central striker, he can assume the role of second forward and midfielder. Ido’s junior career began at the football school of one of the best clubs in Tel Aviv, Maccabi. When Ido turned 14, he transferred to the junior squad of Beitar Shimshon. Beitar Shimshon also became Exbard’s first professional club, with which he signed in 2006. For two seasons Exbard made no appearances for the club, and debuted in the Cup of Israel only in 2008. Ido played the most for Beitar Shimshon in the 2009/10 season, totaling 34 matches and 11 goals. Due to good performance the footballer attracted interest of several major clubs. In June 2010 Ido transferred to Hapoel Petah Tikva, where he netted 4 goals in 19 league appearances. In the summer of 2011 Ido Exbard signed an agreement with Hapoel Be’er Sheva. At present Ido Exbard boasts over 45 appearances and over 5 goals for the club.
