Igor Lolo was born on July 22, 1982 in Adzopé, Ivory Coast. He currently plays as a defender for FC Rostov in the Russian Premier League.
Igor began his football grooming at ASEC Mimosas youth system before joining their first team in 2002. In the 2003/04 season, Lolo moved to the Belgian KSK Beveren where he featured in 10 games and in 2004 left for FC Metalurh Donetsk. On July 31, 2004 he made his debut in the Ukraine Premier League game against FC Shakhtar Donetsk. Having spent one season with Metalurh the player returned to Belgium and signed for Beerschot AC. With this squad the player appeared in 41 league games during the two seasons and thereafter transferred to Racing Genk. After spending a season at Genk, where he featured in 27 games, Lolo signed an agreement with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. On September 28, 2008 he made his debut against FC Metalurh Zaporizhya. In 2009 the footballer signed a contract with Monaco and on March 7, 2009 made his first Ligue 1 appearance against Nice. In Monaco Igor played for 3 seasons amassing 43 appearances. In August 2011, the Ivorian footballer signed a contract with FC Kuban Krasnodar.
Two years later Lolo switched to FC Rostov.
As an international player Igor Lolo represented the Ivory Coast youth national squad and on May 22, 2008 was capped for the Ivory Coast senior national team’s match against Paraguay. In 2012 the defender featured in two African Cup games.
