A Brazilian footballer Ilan Araújo Dall’Igna, known as Ilan, is a forward at Bastia FC.
The first club Ilan played for was Paraná Clube, where he made his debut in the season of 1999 in a Campeonato Paranaense game. He was a remarkable player and the team took the 5th place in the Copa João Havelange.
In 2001 Ilan moved to São Paulo FC and won the Torneio Rio-São Paulo with the team. But since he appeared in only a few matches, he was transferred to Atlético Paranaense.
In 2002 Ilan was seriously injured and could not play till the end of the season. He returned to football in the season of 2003 and quickly became a key forward of the club. In 2003 he was invited to the Brazilian National Team by Carlos Alberto Parreira, but the coach did not include him in the final squad of 22 for the Copa América 2004.
In 2004 he kept scoring for Atlético. When a new striker Washington arrived, Ilan was sold to Sochaux FC. Ilan managed to adapt to the French league quite quickly and scored 13 goals in his first season. In 2005/2006 he scored another 10 times and was bought by Saint-Étienne AS. The striker played his best at his new club and became the top scorer in the 2008/2009 UEFA Cup. However, in 2009/2010 Ilan did not get on well with the club and in January 2010 the contract was cancelled by mutual agreement.
Since that time Ilan played for a number of clubs, such as West Ham United FC, Sport Club Internacional, Ajaccio FC.
In the summer 2012 Ilan joined the French Bastia FC.
