Illya Aleksiyevich. Biography

Illya Aleksiyevich is a midfielder for BATE Borisov. He was born on 10 February 1991 in Zhodino, Belarus.

Illya’s youth and early professional career are both connected with his home club Torpedo Zhodino.

In 2011 Illya joined FC Gomel and together with the club won the bronze medal of the national championship. In the 2010/11 season the club won the Belarusian Cup. In 2012, as part of Gomel, Aleksiyevich won the Belarusian Supercup.

After the end of the 2011/12 season Illya completed the transfer to the national champions BATE Borisov.

Aleksiyevich debuted on the international level for Belarus U-19 in autumn 2009, in a game against the Serbian team. In 2012 Illya was part of the Belarusian Olympic squad in London. Since then he has been called up to the national team.
