Ip Chung Long is a Hong Kong football player who currently plays as a midfielder for Hong Kong First Division League side Southern. He was born on November 16, 1989.
Ip Chung Long came through the youth ranks at Kitchee before signing his first senior contract in 2006. In 2007-2008 season Ip Chung Long has made his professional debut. Despite being considered a decent young player Ip Chung Long has experienced the lack of first-team opportunities at the Aberdeen Sports Ground, having made just 15 appearances in five seasons and scoring one goal.
In 2011 the midfielder has joined Biu Chun Rangers to revive his career. However Biu Chun Rangers’ coach has not considered him as a first team regular and used him predominately as a sub. Ip Chung Long has made just 12 first-team starts before joining Southern in 2012.
