Ishak Belfodil is an Algerian footballer under contract with Internazionale Milano.
Ishak was groomed at Paris club Élancourt between 1997 and 2003. After that he had spells in Trappes Saint-Quentin, Paris Saint-Germain, Boulogne-Billancourt and Clermont youth systems before striking roots at Lyon in 2008. For the first two seasons at the French top club he played for U-18 team. In 2009, Belfodil was promoted to the first team and made his professional debut in a game against Auxerre in August 2009. Just three days later, Ishak played his first UEFA Champions League match against Anderlecht coming on as a substitute in the 60th minute.
In 2012, the Algerian player moved to Italy to join Parma. One yar later he switched for Internazionale. In 2013/2014 season Belfodil was loaned to Livorno.
Ishak Belfodil has a dual citizenship and eligible to perform both for France and Algeria. As a youth, he passed from France U-17 till U-20 teams in between 2008 and 2011.
