Ismo Vorstermans is a retired Dutch defender born on 30 March 1991 in Almere, Netherlands.
Ismo began to play football in youth team De Zwarte Schapen. The footballer was a part of Omniworld, Ajax and Utrecht during his junior career.
In 2008, Vorstermans penned a senior contract with Utrecht and made his professional début for the club on 23 September 2009 in the KNVB Cup 2-4 loss to F.C. Groningen. His first Eredivisie appearance came on 19 September 2010 in the game versus VVV-Venlo, where the footballer came on as a second-half substitute. Ismo netted his first goal (and the winner) in the match against Ajax.
Two rounds later, Vorstermans showed his wonderful skills by firing the thrilling equalizer in the draw with Willem II. The defender found the net two times in ten matches for Utrecht during his first season.
At the beginning of 2012, Ismo completed a season-long loan move to VVV-Venlo. After a short spell with Dordrecht Vorstermans retired aged 24.
