Ivan Paurević. Biography

Ivan Paurević is a midfielder of Croatian descent who plays for Fortuna Düsseldorf. He was born on 1 July 1991 in Essen, Germany.

In his teenage years Ivan played with the juniors of Rot-Weiss, later joining Borussia Dortmund. From 2004 to 2010 he performed for the youth team of the club. In 2010 Paurević signed a professional contract with the club. Ivan was promoted to the reserve squad, where he made 44 appearances and scored 2 goals during his 2010-2012 spell at the club.

In 2012 Paurević moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf.

On 5 September 2009 Ivan debuted for the Croatia U19 team in the match against Slovenia. In 2011 he was called up to the Croatia U21 squad and took part in 4 games for the team.
