Iván Ramis is a back of Wigan. He was born on 25 October 1984 in Sa Pobla, Spain.
The footballer’s career took off in the academy of Mallorca. Ramis’s début for the main team of the club came on 15 February 2004 in the match against Albacete. After the back returned from loan at Valladolid (2005/2006 season), he made splendid display during the 2007/2008 season and managed to fire three goals from his defensive position.
On 29 January 2010, Iván wanted to move to top-flight Scottish side Celtic, but the two parties did not reach an agreement. The footballer made 26 appearances during the 2010/2011 season and helped his club to climb to fifth in the table, which helped it to qualify for the Europa League.
In the summer 2012, Ramis penned a three-year deal with Wigan.
