Ivan Strinić is a professional left back who plays for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. He was born on July 17, 1987 in Split, SR Croatia.
Ivan Strinić started trained to play football at the football academy of Hajduk Split HNK till 2006. Having passed all the exams, the defender could have joined the club as a professional footballer, but the next stage of his career ran in France. In the summer of 2006 the footballer signed his first professional contract for one season with Le Mans FC. However, Ivan Strinić was never played in the first string of the club.
In the summer of 2007 he returned to Croatia and signed up with Hrvatski Dragovoljac. His progress in football was closely followed by the scouts of Hajduk Split HNK and in the summer of 2008 Ivan Strinić started performing for the club. Over the 3 years he spent at the club, the defender appeared in 51 matches and made 4 goals.
In 2011 Ivan Strinić joined Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC.
In 2010 Ivan Strinić began to represent his country internationally as a player of the Croatia National Football Team.
