Jack Smith is a defender, born on 14 November 1983 in Hemel Hempstead, England.
Jack’s professional career took off in Watford in 2000, when the footballer penned his first senior contract and started to train with the main squad of the club. He did not have much playing practice during his début season, because the head coach preferred to use more experienced footballers, but the defender tried to use every minute of playing time to show his talent and skills. Smith made 25 appearances and netted two goals for the team during five years.
In 2005, Jack sealed a deal with Swindon Town and got an opportunity to take part in several fixtures for the club during his first season, which helped him to gain the manager’s confidence. The footballer managed to clinch a regular place in the starting line-up and fired nine goals in 138 matches for the team during four years.
In 2009, English side Millwall lodged a tempting bid for the defender and secured his services on a long-term deal. Smith stayed with the club for five seasons and then switched for Wimbledon in the summer 2014.
