Jack Stephens is a defender of Southampton. He was born on 27 January 1994 in Plymouth, England.
Jack’s junior career took off in the local academy in his native town, where he spent five years. Stephens used that time to play for various junior teams of the club and to participate in the youth championship. The footballer managed to stay in the limelight of the coaching staff, which noticed the achievements and talents of the defender. Jack was one of few candidates for getting to the main team of Plymouth Argyle.
The footballer received an offer to join the full squad in 2010, and he accepted the offer by penning a senior contract the same year. The young entry-level footballer was let on the field five times during his first professional season and managed to show very promising performance.
In the spring 2011, Jack ended his Plymouth Argyle spell with Southampton move for £150,000 and continues to play for the new club up till now. He was not given a chance to come on the pitch during the 2011/2012 season, but the footballer is always ready to help his team.
In 2012 Stephens started his international career, when he was invited to the match of the England national U-18 squad.
