A Spanish footballer Jaime Astrain Aguado acts as a central defender for Écija Balompié on loan from Córdoba CF. Jaime was born on 5 February 1988 in Madrid.
Astrain started his professional career with Atlético Pinto, debuting with the first squad in 2006. The very first season was lined with several appearances made. The young defender was considered to be not experienced enough to act as a regular member of the main team, that’s why he was increasingly used as a sub. In 2007, Aguado transferred to Pontevedra, where he joined the reserve squad.
In the summer 2008, Jaime agreed terms with Móstoles. The defender went on to establish himself as a key member. He finished the 2008/2009 season with 35 appearances made. In 2009, Astrain joined the C team of Villarreal. Altogether, he appeared 30 times and scored two goals for the reserves. In 2010, the defender penned a contract with Osasuna. The player became one of the club’s reserve team. He remained at the club until 2011, appearing 23 times.
In 2011, a deal was agreed with Córdoba CF. Aguado’s start to life at the club wasn’t the best – he made no appearances in the first season and was sent on loan to Écija.
