A Brazilian footballer Jakson Coelho, also known as Jajá, operates as a midfielder or forward for Metalist Kharkiv. He was born on 28 February 1986 in Ipatinga.
Jackson’s junior career passed at the youth department of América-MG. While playing for the youth team he attacted attention of the scouts from Feyenoord. In 2004, the footballer signed a year contract with the club. He made no appearances at all and was sent on loan to Westerio, where he spent a year, making 30 appearances and netting 11 goals. From 2006 to 2008, the Brazilian player tried to settle in different the clubs, among them were Getafe, Flamengo, Racing Genk and Westerlo. Finally, in 2008, a three-year contract was sianed with Metalist Kharkiv. The midfielder managed to become the team’s anchor player. Jakson became famous for being able to score long distance goals. In the summer 2010, Jajá moved to Turkey, where he joined Trabzonspor. In a year, Coelho was scouted by Al-Ahli, making only 5 appearances during the 2011/2012 season. In 2012, a deal was finalized with the Brazilian club Internacional. However, just half a season later the Brazilian joined a Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv.
In the season 2012/2013 Coelho played for Kayserispor on loan.
