Jake Cyril Livermore is an English centre midfielder who can also play as a right winger and defensive midfielder. He was born in Enfield, London.
Jake was a trainee of Tottenham academy since childhood. From 2006 he began to play for the U-18 team, made 39 appearances and scored nine goals. Jake also took part in 13 matches of the reserve team. He made his debut for the first team in July 2007 in the match against Stevenage. On 29 February 2008, the player went on a month-loan to Milton Keynes Dons. On 11 July 2008, Jake was sent on loan to Crewe Alexandra, this time for six months. However, the footballer didn’t manage to play for his new temporary team as he got a fibula fracture.
On 24 July 2009, the midfielder signed a new contract with Spurs till the summer 2012. The same day he took part in the Wembley Cup match against Barcelona. Livermore fired a goal that saved Tottenham from a defeat. On 24 August 2009, the young English player went on loan again. Derby County became his new temporary club. Jake made 16 appearances for ‘The Rams’ and kicked a goal in the match against Nottingham Forest, which didn’t save his club from losing the game. In January 2010 the midfielder continued his wandering by signing a loan agreement with Peterborough United. The player took part in nine games for the new temporary club and netted one goal.
On 2 March 2010, Livermore was called up to London and returned from the loan, as many players of Spurs were injured at the moment. On 20 March, the footballer came on the field as the first team player. He made his debut in the match against Staffordshire side Stoke City.
On 23 September 2010, Jake had to leave London once again. He went on loan to Ipswich Town till the end of the year. Livermore played nine matches for the new team, but did not score. On 24 March 2011, Jake was sent to Leeds United. After 2010/2011 the footballer returned to London.
On 18 August 2011, the player got on the scoresheet due to a goal in a hammering 5-0 win against Scottish side Heart of Midlothian. Later Jake took part in the UEFA Europa League matches, but Spurs did not manage to make their way through to the playoff, as they sent their B team to the tournament. Besides, in 2011/2012 Livermore started to come on the pitch as a regular in the Premier League matches and made 24 appearances during that season.
Livermore was loaned out to Hull City for the season 2013/2014. After the loan spell he penned a permanent deal with The Tigers.
