James Troisi is a football player, born in 1988 in Adelaide, Australia. He came through the youth academies of West Torrens Birkalla, Adelaide City and in 2005 he joined the youth system of Newcastle United. There he stayed since 2005, then left the academy for the 2007/08 season, though he wasn’t offered promotion to the first team.
In August 2008 Troisi moved to Turkey, signing for Gençlerbirliği S.K. on a three-year deal. On 14 September 2008 he made his first appearance in the match against Eskisehirspor. After a season with Gençlerbirliği S.K. he moved to Kayserispor, penning a four-year contract. On 24 August 2012 James Troisi completed a move to Atalanta. One year later he was loaned to Melbourne Victory.
His international debut came on 18 April 2007 in a qualifying match against Saudi Arabia, when Troisi was a part of the Australia U23 team. He earned his first cap for senior team on 22 March 2008.
