James Vaughan is a forward of Huddersfield Town. He was born on 14 July 1988 in Birmingham, England.
In 2004 James’s career took off in Everton. He emerged through its youth system, having been one of the best trainees during two years, which earned him an invitation to the main team. Vaughan did not come on the pitch very often during first five years of his career and spent most of the time on a substitutes’ bench, which could not satisfy the forward.
In 2009 James was sent on loan to Derby County, where he spent half a year and made two appearances. In January 2010, the footballer moved to Leicester City on a six-month loan deal, took part in eight games and netted one goal. In the summer 2010, Vaughan went to Crystal Palace and fired five goals in 14 matches during his first six-month spell, which was an impetus for the temporary club to extend his loan contract for another half a year. James made 16 appearances and found the net four times during his second spell.
In the summer 2011, the footballer decided to end his performances on loan by penning a contract with Norwich City. He occasionally came on the pitch in the 2011/2012 season and took part in five games. In 2012/2013 season James played on loan for Huddersfield Town and at the end of the season signed a permanent contract with the club.
From 2004 till 2011, James was capped 13 times and contributed five goals for the England national U-17, U-19 and U-21 teams.
