Jamie Martin Devitt is a winger, born on 6 July 1990 in Dublin, Ireland.
Jamie’s professional career took off in Hull City in 2008, when the footballer penned his first senior five-year contract and joined the main squad of the club. In 2009, Devitt went on loan to Darlington and netted one goal in six fixtures for the team during his spell. The same year, the winger sealed a temporary contract with Shrewsbury Town and fired two goals in nine games during the first half of the 2009/2010 season.
In 2010, Jamie was sent on loan to Grimsby Town, where he made 15 appearances and found the net five times during his span. In 2011, the footballer was loaned out to Bradford City, which saw him score one time in seven matches. In January 2012, Devitt completed a temporary move to Accrington Stanley and went on to net two times in 16 fixtures before being sent to Rotherham United. However, the winger picked up an injury and had to return to ‘The Tigers’ after featuring only in one match for Rotherham. After a short spell with Grimsby Town Devitt joined Chesterfield on permanent basis.
In 2014 Devitt switched for Morecambe.
In 2011, Jamie was capped one time for the Republic of Ireland national U-21 squad.
