James Charles Mackie is a Scottish striker of Nottingham Forest, who is also capable of operating in midfield. He was born on 22 September 1985 in Dorking, England.
In 2003 Jamie made his professional début for Wimbledon. In 2004 the footballer transferred to the Championship side Milton Keynes Dons and continued his career in the same division club Exeter City a year later. Mackie’s qualities were not appraised in the new club and he was sent on a season-long loan to Sutton United. In 2008 the striker finalized a move to the League Two side Plymouth Argyle. From May 2010 to July 2013, Jamie performed for London side Queens Park Rangers. Having appeared 82 times for the club, Mackie moved to fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest.
From 24 August 2010, Mackie was capped nine times and netted two goals for the Scotland national team.
