Jan Laštůvka is a Czech footballer, who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. He was born on July 7, 1982 in Havířov, Czechoslovakia.
Jan Laštůvka started his football career at Karviná MFK and then moved to Baník Ostrava FC. He stayed there for 4 years till his departure to Shakhtar Donetsk FC (the Ukraine) in June 2004. In early 2007 the footballer was loaned to Fulham FC (England) and in the season of 2007/2008 he starred for Bochum VfL. In August 2008 the goalkeeper came on loan to West Ham United and played for the club for one year.
On August 4, 2009 the Czech footballer signed a 3-year contract with Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk FC. The transfer fee of Jan Laštůvka was €3 million. On August 22, 2009 the goalkeeper made his debut for the club.
The player was also called up to the Czech Republic national football team.
