Jaroslav Drobný is a Czech goalkeeper who plays for Hamburger SV. He was born on October 18, 1979 in the town of Pocatky, the Czech Republic.
Since his early childhood Jaroslav was keen on playing football. He launched his career in professional football when he penned his first contract with S.K. České Budějovice in the summer 1999. He had earlier played at various youth sides including SK Chrudium and FC Vitkovice. For the next few years he wore the jerseys of Panionios, Fulham, ADO Den Haag and Ipswich Town.
In 2007 Jaroslav joined VfL Bochum on a season-long loan. After that season he sealed a three-year contract with Hertha BSC.
In 2010 Drobný was snapped up by HSV, where he has appeared in 24 matches and has not conceded a single goal so far.
