Jason Davidson is a back of Heracles Almelo. He was born on 29 June 1991 in Melbourne, Australia.
Jason began to play football in Hume City and penned his first professional contract on 26 January 2009. The back made 16 appearances during his début season and, despite the interest from various top-flight teams, moved to Portuguese side Paços de Ferreira in the summer 2009. The footballer’s maiden appearance for the new club came on 16 January 2010 in the away game versus Porto.
In 2011, Davidson was sent on loan to Sporting Covilhã and made his début for the temporary team on 6 February the same year in the away match against Leixões. Two months later, on 10 April 2011, the back netted his first goal and added another one to his tally during the rest part of his spell.
On 5 December 2011, Jason sealed a three-and-a-half-year deal with Dutch side Heracles Almelo, where he continues to perform at the position of a centre back up till now. The footballer’s maiden Eredivisie appearance came on 25 March 2012 in the home 3-1 victory over Utrecht. Davidson took part in 11 fixtures for the club as of November 2012.
