Javi Guerrero. Biography

Javi Guerrero is a Spanish striker currently playing for a second-tier club Las Palmas. He was born on 22 October 1976 in Madrid, Spain.

Javi had a splendid start of his career playing in the youth system of the Spanish giants Real Madrid. In the 1995/96 season, he played for Real Madrid C amassing 21 goals in 29 matches. Since 1996 till 1999, Guerrero featured for Real Madrid B and then moved to Albacete. After two successful seasons at Albacete, the striker had a four-year stint at then Primera División club Racing de Santander where he scored 44 goals in 133 league games. He then spent four more seasons in the Spanish top flight playing for Celta de Vigo and Recreativo de Huelva. In 2009, Javi Guerrero signed for Las Palmas and plays for that Segunda División club till today.
