A Spanish footballer Javier Espinosa González acts as a midfielder for Barcelona B. He was born on 19 September 1992 in Talavera de la Reina.
When Javier was 13, he entered the academy of Barcelona. He spent six years at the club’s youth system getting his first playing experience and studying the game in its minutest detail. Espinosa proved to be a talented player able to act as a central midfielder as well as a winger. Over a short period of time, he was in the list of the best young footballers of the academy. He was an anchor player of the youth team, appearing in almost all the matches.
In 2011, Javier graduated from the club’s academy. He was considered to be still not ready to represent the main squad, that’s why he moved to the reserve team of Barcelona. His debut season for the B team was lined with 32 matches, where he appeared both as a sub and as a player of the first XI. He scored two goals over the course of the 2011/2012 season.
In 2009, Espinosa got his first call for the Spain U-17 team. Altogether, he scored one goal in five games for the national youth side.
