A Spanish footballer Francisco Javier Farinós Zapata was born on 29 March 1978 in Valencia.
Francisco started his youth career at the academy of Valencia. In 1996, after finishing his formation, the young midfielder joined the club’s senior side. At first, he played for the B team. The 1996/1997 season was lined with three goals scored in 15 matches. Farinós debuted for the main squad of Valencia in 1997. Altogether, he made 115 appearances and netted 10 goals.
In 2000, Francisco moved to Inter Milan. The spell with the club was lined with several loans. In 2003, Javier spent a year at Villarreal making 22 appearances and scoring two balls. In 2004, the midfielder agreed on a season-long contract with Mallorca. He managed to display a solid performance by netting three goals in 29 games. After the spell came to an end, the management of the temporary club bought Francisco out and he became the club’s official player. The 2005/2006 season was lined with 17 appearances made.
In 2006, Javier was scouted by Hércules, where the following five years of his career were spent. The midfielder soon became the squad’s anchor player. In total, he amassed 22 goals in 146 appearances. In 2011, Farinós was announced to be an official member of Levante. In a year, the footballer signed for Villarreal.
In February 2014 Farinos finished his professional career.
