Jean André Emanuel Beausejour Coliqueo is a midfielder of Wigan Athletic. He was born on 1 June 1984 in Santiago, Chile.
Jean’s professional career took off in 2002, when he joined Universidad Católica. In 2004 Beausejour penned a contract with Swiss side Servette and spent one season there before moving to Brazilian side Grêmio in 2005. In 2006 the footballer completed a move to Belgian side Gent, but decided to return home and start his performance first for Cobreloa, then for O’Higgins and spent one season in each team. From December 2008, Jean transferred to Mexican side América.
In 2010 Beausejour signed for English side Birmingham, as he was offered a lucrative contract. In 2012, the footballer moved to Premier League side Wigan Athletic.
From 2004, the midfielder was capped 43 times and contributed three goals for the Chile national team.
