A French footballer Jean-Louis Leca is a goalkeeper for Bastia.
A young goalkeeper managed to play for AS Furiani Agliani at all levels before switching to SC Bastia training center which is the largest club in the region. In 2004 Nicolas Penneteau was appointed first-choice goalkeeper. However, due to the fact that there were several slips in his performance, Leca was given a chance to appear in the Ligue 1 match against AS Monaco.
Because of the conflict with the management of the Corsican club Jean-Louis featured only in the last three matches of the 2005/06 season.
In July 2008 he moved to Valenciennes for which he had performed at all league matches before he was replaced by Austin Ejide. On 15 August 2009 Leca made his club debut in the match against Olympique Lyonnais.
In January 2012 Jean-Louis was seriously injured during the match against ES Wasquehal. Because of the rupture of ligament the goalkeeper had to refrain from playing for about six months.
In 2013 the goalie switched for Bastia.
